1. Scope of the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information that we collect or use during your use of the Site. This Privacy Policy does not apply to other websites over which we have no control, although links to such websites may be presented on the Site, including the websites of job posters, employers, employment agencies, or advertisers. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of other parties or websites. We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time in our sole discretion.

If we materially amend this Privacy Policy, you will be notified by email or through a prominent notice posted on the Site.

2. Information Collected by the Site

We directly collect information about you when you use the Site. We receive and store this information when you voluntarily provide it to us through the Site, including any information provided through your user account (e.g. name, email, profile information, resume, geographical information) or in any other manner, such as third-party authentication systems (e.g., LinkedIn). “Personal Information” is considered any information that could reasonably be used to directly identify a person using the Site. Personal Information does not include aggregated or anonymized information, any publicly-available information about you, or information about you that is provided by third parties. We are not responsible for any additional information that you provide directly to any other users or third parties, and we encourage you to familiarize yourself with third party privacy practices before disclosing information directly to any such third parties. Nothing in this Privacy Policy restricts the sharing of aggregated or anonymized information, which may be shared with third parties without your consent.

We may also collect information from you automatically during your use of the Site, including but not limited to, your IP address and device ID, date and time of visit, and web browser used, as well as through cookies, web beacons, or other web tracking tools (see below).

3. How The Site Uses Collected Information

We use Google Analytics such as Demographics and Interest Reports, and Remarketing and Advertising Reporting Features to gather third party audience data, (including Personal Information). We use this information to make the Site’s services available to our users, which includes analyzing, maintaining, and improving the Site’s services and making advertising available on the Site. This information may also be used to advertise on third party websites to previous visitors to our site. By registering an account to use the Site, you consent for the Site to use your information in various ways, including but not limited to: creating a profile based on information you have provided (including through any third-party authentication sites); providing personalized, targeted, or location-based content, services, and advertising from the Site and third parties; and generating reports about the use of the Site and aggregate data on our users.

Information you post to public areas of the Site (including any areas that may be viewed by other registered users of the Site) may be accessed, used, and stored by third parties around the world. We cannot control how others may use this information.

We may also use your personal information to contact you with promotional materials and other information that we believe may be of interest to you. If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to receive such communications from us, please follow the unsubscribe instructions provided in any of the communications.

Finally, we may use information that has been aggregated or otherwise anonymized for any purpose at our discretion.

4. Sharing of Your Personal Information

You may change or remove certain information by accessing, reviewing, correcting, updating, changing, or deleting your account information or profile at any time. Although you may remove such information, we may continue to use it to the extent that it is anonymized and aggregated and therefore no longer personally identifying. If you do not sign into your account or use the Site for an extended period of time, your account may be terminated in our sole discretion, and all your user information may be deleted. We may use Local Storage Objects (LSOs) such as HTML5 to store content information and preferences. Third parties with whom the Site partners to provide certain features on the Site or to display advertising based upon your Web browsing activity use LSOs such as HTML 5 to collect and store information. Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5 LSOs.
